During 35 years of working as a family therapist, a counsellor in the education system, a social worker for the ministry and as a trainer/supervisor in a non-profit organization I continue to be amazed at the resiliency of the human spirit and our ability to respond to oppression in creative ways.

I have an understanding of colonization and the influence the residential school system has had on Aboriginal people; I am honoured to be a part of the healing process.

Being a mother, grandmother, world traveller, a woman with a disability and a person with a thirst for growth and laughter all influence my practice. This living is not for the faint of heart. Occasionally having someone support you and ask good questions can launch a new perspective on a current or old issue.
